Cassiopeia Build Guide for League of Legends

Hey, man, you like to own faces, right? This Cassiopeia guide can teach you how to do that kind of thing, for sure! Why Cassio? ‘Cause “she da bawss”, that’s why… yeah.

Masteries

I like to do 9 in Offense, just enough for the magic penetration, homes. And, 21 points in Utility, with 2 in Wealth, so I can get an extra health pot, boyeee!

But, hey, you why no all offense? I think the rest of the Offense tree is poop and it really doesn’t add that much damage, so there.

Runes Build

I reckon I like to do 9 Greater Marks of Insight for the reds. That’d be some nice magic penetration for the cool. Just so happens that Cassiopeia does a lot of magic damage so I reckon them runes help her out a bit.

Three times Greater Quintessences of Potency are the quints for me, you see? I reckon its pretty nice to have some flat ability power early on because more damage is so cool, and we intend to murder our lane opponent early on.

For blues and yellows, I like flat health yellows and flat magic resist blues. This helps Cassiopeia tank the other Mid’s damage while you blow their face up.

Cassiopeia Build Guide

Summoner Spells

Use Flash and use Ignite. Flash for the getting away and setting upping of the killing. Ignite just for the killing.

Skill Order

Max Q first, E second, R third and W last.

Q – E – Q – W – Q – R – Q – E – Q – E – R – E – E – W – W – R – W – W

Cassiopeia Item Build!

Start with Boots of Speed and 3 Health Potions always! You need boots so you can dodge skill shots, as well as have better positioning for your own skill shots. You also need to be able to escape ganks, of course! First 3 items, maybe 2, should be Doran’s rings. Dorans give lots o’ stats for so cheap they’re the best! You’ll keep them Dorans until later when you sell them for better things!

Next you’ll be wanting to get a Hextech Revolver to be built into Will of the Ancients later. This’ll help you keep your health topped off in lane and help you heal up between engagements, :) . Next build you a Rabadon’s Deathcap. After you build that you’ll be doin’ the big deeps.

At this point, you should check the other team’s item builds to see if they’re already building magic resist. If they are building enough to matter, then you should probably build Void staff next. If not go for a Zhonya’s Hourglass. I used to build Rylai’s before Hourglass, but I think at this point in the game you need Hourglass. I get Hourglass because sometimes if you’re doing well enough the other team sees you as a threat and they will dive the crap out of you, and that shit is annoying.

Oops, oh yea, you should probably get Sorc Boots like around the time you get your Dorans.

Blue Buff

You should take this any chance you get. It’ll help you farm minions no problem. Also when you get some spell vamp you’ll be healin’ like a villain. On top of all that it allows you to put a lot of pressure on your lane opponent.

Ask you jungler if you can have second blue. Some of them suckers won’t give it to you at all. But blue usually respawns at around 7:20, so when that time comes go to blue and if he doesn’t look like he’s planning on giving it to you, try to steal it!

Laning

In the lane phase do your best to focus on farming while keeping your opponent from doing the same. If you end up not getting kills in lane you won’t have any golds unless you’ve been focusing on last hits. So, get them last hits! As far as actually winning your lane, dodge skill shots and kill da badguys… Hit bad guy with Q and if you do hit em with some E’s. Try to put pressure on early to blow their flash, its a lot harder for them to gank you with no flash btw!

Tip # 5… Don’t be afraid to use that ULT, it is awesome and makes for easy kills! Just don’t be greedy with it. The cooldown isn’t THAT long…

Words
I can probably say more words about things but I can’t think of good ones, so like ask some questions and I will answer, fuhsho!
